My customer's Touareg has a problem that due to water ingress it's popping up a DTC pointing at an issue with an exhaust temp. sensor, that reason really being is that the sensor return is being shorted to ground from the engine control.

My question is, once I've purchased a new module then aquired the security pincode, is it simple enough to program to the vehicle? Are there any issues I'd be better knowing about before I start?
